"Attitude makes it happen!" is the motto of Scout Troop 380 (age 11-18) and the co-ed Venturing Crew 380 (age 14-21). If you want to make it happen, check out 380!

About Troop 380/Crew 380

In the troop's 30 year history we have been known for going places, doing things and having fun doing it. Some years Troop/Crew 380 members have traveled 5,000 miles in one year (land-air-sea).

High Adventure: Troop 380 and Crew 380 members have experienced Philmont Scout Ranch backpacking treks in New Mexico mountains for twelve days, trips to the B.S.A. Florida Sea Base-- the Bahamas Adventure sailing the Bahamas Islands for a week, Coral Reef Sailing and the Sea Exploring program sailing through the Florida Keys and to Dry Tortugas National Park.

Troop Adventures: Spring break in Colorado mountains, camping and hiking in the snowy mountains. Or camping on Padre Island or Galveston Island , the live aboard program on the USS Lexington aircraft carrier or the battleship USS Texas , visits to state capitols, Texas Alamo, and canoe trips. Plus rock climbing; from the Wichita Mountains in western Oklahoma, to New Mexico, to Mineral Wells State Park, to the back side of Enchanted Rock in central Texas. Trips to NASA, Houston Space Center and the Challenger Space Center program. Water skiing trips in Texas and Oklahoma. Cave exploring. Backpacking in many National Parks plus state parks and several hiking trails. Monthly week-end camp-outs or special week and two week adventures are apart of Troop 380 outdoor experiences. Are you ready?

Advancement: Troop 380's Trail to First Class and Trail to Eagle programs or Venturing's Ranger award . the opportunity to advance is waiting for you.

Summer Camp: Week long Scout summer camp every year! A lot of fun, plus merit badges for advancement. Especially if you like camping, swimming, sailing, water skiing, horseback riding, rifle, archery, climbing, and . outdoors.
